FREE WEBINAR: How can you demystify your recruitment process for young applicants?
September 7 2017
Date:Thursday 12 October
Time: 11am – 12pm
In 2015, Business in the Community and City & Guilds Group surveyed 4000 young people about their experiences for finding work. One in five young people said that a difficult application process had put them off the company they have applied for, and one in ten said they had been put off the whole industry. These figures show that a poor recruitment process not only impacts a young person’s planned career direction but can also alienate potential future customers.
Our research also showed that 30% of young people find the process of applying for a job difficult. For 31% of applicants a key barrier was them not knowing what was required of them at every stage, while 21% said an unclear job description made the process difficult.
We want to empower companies to use new techniques to create transparent, open and accessible recruitment processes for young people. To achieve this, we would like to invite you to a one hour webinar, focusing on how you can demystify recruitment for young first time job seekers.
